Jhooth is a story of Raghav who is a straight forward guy and can not tolerate lie in any form. He falls in love with a girl Rukmani who is self obsessed and who speaks lies at the drop of a hat . She is a liar and there is no truth in her. She feels that no one can catch her in her own web of lies. Raghav has an elder brother Hemant who just got engaged. Raghav wants to surprise Rukmani. He made duplicate keys of Rukmani’s house . He enters her house to hide a surprise gift for her on her birthday. He was surprised as he finds lots of photographs at her place which were clicked before they knew each other. That brings a doubt in Raghav’s mind about Rukmani’s behavior. To know why Raghav was surprised, we need to go in to his past life. Raghav, Hemant, Rukmani and Tejal all are partying at Tejal’s place. After the party, Rukhmani invites Raghav for a coffee date but he denies.
